10 Days in Antalya

Enough time to properly cover Antalya, add a longer overnight trip, and still have days with no plan at all.

A trip with genuine breathing room

Ten days is enough to cover Antalya thoroughly, add both a rafting day and a longer overnight trip, and still have slow, unplanned days — the point at which a trip stops feeling like a checklist and starts feeling like an actual holiday.

Days 1–3: The Antalya basics

Old town on day one (Kaleiçi guide), waterfalls and a harbour boat trip on day two, and Aspendos paired with Perge or Side on day three.

Days 4–5: Active day & a beach reset

A full-day Köprülü Canyon rafting trip, followed by a genuinely unplanned beach day at Lara or Konyaaltı — deliberately built in as a reset before the second half of the trip.

Days 6–8: Olympos & Çıralı, or Pamukkale, properly

With ten days, you can do both a change-of-pace overnight and the full Antalya rotation, rather than picking one:

  • 2 nights in Olympos/Çıralı: ruins, quiet beach, the Chimaera flames after dark. See the full guide.
  • Or 2 nights near Pamukkale: travertine terraces and Hierapolis without the single-day rush. See the Pamukkale guide.

Either works; picking based on whether you want mountains-and-ruins (Olympos) or the singular white-terrace landscape (Pamukkale) is the simplest way to decide.

Days 9–10: Second base or slow finish

Shift base to Side or Alanya for the final stretch — both work well as a self-contained few days rather than a rushed day trip — or simply return to Antalya for two unhurried final days: Termessos if you haven't done it yet, the Antalya Museum, and one more slow evening in Kaleiçi before you fly.

Making ten days work

A rental car for the middle stretch
Days 4–8 involve the most movement; picking up a car for this portion (rather than the whole trip) often makes sense.
Two-base or three-base structure
Antalya/Kaleiçi + Olympos or Pamukkale + Side/Alanya gives real variety without excessive repacking.
Build in one genuinely empty day
With this much ground covered, one day with no plan at all — just the beach or the old town again — makes a real difference to how the trip feels by the end.
Book the multi-day legs early
Overnight Pamukkale or Olympos stays and any rafting trips are worth locking in during initial planning, well before the daily beach-and-old-town days.
