What a week gives you room for
A week is enough to properly slow down — cover the essentials without rushing, add a longer trip like Pamukkale or Olympos, and even shift base to a second area for a few nights. This itinerary assumes you're staying flexible rather than locking every hour.
Days 1–2: Kaleiçi, waterfalls & a boat trip
Old town on day one (see the Kaleiçi guide), then waterfalls and a harbour boat trip on day two, exactly as in the shorter itineraries.
Days 3–4: Ruins & an active day
Combine Aspendos with Perge or Side on one day, then a full-day Köprülü Canyon rafting trip on the other.
Days 5–6: Change of pace — Olympos, Çıralı or Pamukkale
This is where a week earns its keep. Pick one:
- Olympos & Çıralı overnight: ruins in a forest valley, a quiet pebble beach, and the Chimaera's natural flames after dark — a genuinely different pace from the main coast. See the full guide.
- Pamukkale overnight: if the white travertine terraces are a priority, a week gives you room to do this properly rather than as an exhausting single day — see our honest breakdown in the Pamukkale guide.
Day 7: Beach day & departure prep
A full, unhurried day at Lara or Konyaaltı, and a slower pace ahead of your flight or onward travel.
