Why we started this

Most Antalya content online falls into two camps: thin listicles clearly written without ever visiting, or hotel-affiliate sites where every recommendation happens to be a paid placement. We wanted something else — guides written to actually be useful for planning a real trip, kept current, and honest about what we haven't covered yet.

How we work

• No pay-to-play in the guides themselves. Hotels, restaurants and attractions are never paid to be included or ranked in our editorial content — a recommendation is there because it fits the guide, full stop.
• Built to last. Guides get revisited as prices, routes and opening patterns change, not published once and abandoned.
• Organised by decision. Every guide answers a real question a traveller has — not a keyword we're trying to rank for.
• Growing in the open. We're a new site. The guide library is expanding every week, and we'd rather ship fewer, better pages than pad the site with thin ones.

How the site pays for itself

Totally Antalya is free to read, and part of how that stays sustainable is affiliate links — small commissions from partners like Wise, Amazon, Hotels.com and Expedia, at no extra cost to you if you use them. The distinction we care about: those partnerships fund the site, but they never decide what goes into a guide or how it's written. We only link to services we'd genuinely recommend regardless of the commission. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

What's next

We're actively expanding coverage — more neighbourhood guides, more day trips, deeper dives into specific attractions, and translations into the languages our readers actually use, starting with the largest markets that visit Antalya each year.
