Antalya's marina, at the foot of the old town
Antalya's old harbour marina sits directly below Kaleiçi, tucked into the cliff at the base of the old town — a working small-boat harbour that's also the departure point for the coastal boat trips and the social centre of the old town's evening scene.
What to do there
Boat trips
The departure point for half-day and sunset boat trips along the coast — see our full boat trips guide.
Harbourside dining
Restaurants and cafés stacked up the cliff behind the marina, with views back down over the boats — expect prices here to run higher than a street or two back.
The view up to Kaleiçi
Looking back up at the old town from the water's edge is one of the classic Antalya photos, especially at golden hour.
Evening atmosphere
The marina genuinely comes alive after dark, with lights reflecting off the water and a relaxed, sociable evening scene.
Getting there
The marina sits at the base of Kaleiçi, reached via a steep path or steps down from the old town — an easy walk down, a bit more effort back up. It's the natural endpoint of a Kaleiçi walking tour rather than a separate trip.
Our take: come down for a boat trip or sunset, but eat dinner a street or two back up in the old town rather than right on the harbourfront — you'll pay less for better food without losing much of the atmosphere.
