Antalya's Old Harbour sits immediately below Kaleiçi, tucked into the cliff beneath the old city walls. Do not assume every boat tied up in the harbour offers the same experience. Antalya has small sightseeing boats, louder party-style trips and longer coastal excursions. Getting down from Kaleiçi
The harbour is at the bottom of a steep old-town slope. Walking down is easy for most visitors, but the climb back can feel much harder in summer heat or with limited mobility. Wear shoes with grip on polished or uneven lanes and save some energy for the return.
If you are exploring Kaleiçi on foot, it is usually better to make the harbour part of the same walking loop than to travel to it as a separate attraction.

Walking around the harbour is free. Your main costs are boat trips, food and drinks. Boat pricing varies by trip style, season, duration and what is included, so current on-the-ground comparison is more reliable than a fixed number in a travel guide.
If a seller quotes a package price, confirm whether drinks, transfers, lunch or swimming stops are actually included before comparing it with another boat.
Mobility and family considerations
The steep connection between Kaleiçi and the water is the main practical issue. Families with pushchairs and travellers with mobility limitations should plan the route rather than assuming the shortest map line is the easiest path. Boat boarding can also involve steps and moving gangways.
For children, a short sightseeing cruise can be easier than a full-day party boat, but shade and life-jacket arrangements vary by vessel. Check the actual boat rather than relying on a generic sales photo.
What to combine with the marina
The natural pairing is Kaleiçi: Hadrian's Gate, old streets and the historic harbour all belong to one compact old-city visit. If you want more coast afterwards, Lower Düden or Konyaaltı gives a very different view of Antalya's relationship with the sea.
