What Kemer is
Kemer sits west of Antalya, where the pine-covered Taurus foothills drop steeply to the sea. It has a proper marina, smaller pebble coves rather than one long beach, and a noticeably more dramatic, mountainous backdrop than the city or Lara.

Getting around from Kemer
It's roughly 45–60 minutes from central Antalya. The road toward Olympos and Çıralı continues the same dramatic coastline further west, making Kemer a reasonable base if you're planning to explore that direction rather than day-tripping into the city repeatedly.
